Change email address
Hi Sam, congratulations and thanks for this great plugin!

Just a question, it's possible to change the administrator's email address by another one?

I changed the administrator email, however I still get the messages from the old email address and Settings still showing the old address.

Thanks in advance,

George

RE: Change email address
Hi George,

Thank you! And congratulations to you also for being our first forum member! Big Grin

The plugin gets the email address from the email address in Settings > General, in the WordPress admin (see attached screenshot). I assume that this is where you attempt to change + save the admin email?

Wink RE: Change email address
Hey Sam, yes I know, however by changing the admin email I'm still getting the emails to my old address, which is not a problem.

You could add an option in settings to change the email. Also a form with even more fields is always welcome Wink

Anyway the reCAPTCHA Form works like a charm!!

Keep up the good work!

RE: Change email address
That is quite odd, because all the plugin does is grab the admin email from the database (it doesn't store it itself) - so it looks like it may be some kind of issue with WordPress not correctly saving your new admin email address.

You can check/manually change the admin email address directly in the MySQL database by going to the wp_options table in your database and editing the value for the admin_email row.

RE: Change email address
Hi there

First, thanks for the plugin, it`s great.

I agree with George, I want to change the email address, but in my case I don't want to change the admin mail settings, prefer to use another mail account for the FORM, could be possible to add a settings options in the next release of the plugin?

Thank u Wink

RE: Change email address
We've had feedback from a few users interested in having a field to input a different email address.

Will certainly look into adding the option in the next major release of the plugin. Smile

RE: Change email address
Hi guys,

v1.2 has just been released today, you are now able to manually enter a recipient email address in the WP admin instead of using the default blog admin address.
