Hi! I see this might be a common issue for some, and I am encountering it now with WP3. Can someone help? reCaptcha is the only method I know of to use for my client. We can't use an alternate method very long as she has many visually impaired site patrons and none can send her email at this time becuase the other CAPTCHA form solution we use has no audio.

I thought the keys might be wrong, so I generated new keys.
One for domainname.com
one for http://www.domainname.com
Same problem...

So here is the issue:
I have installed the plugin, gotten Key and Secret and published the form

I get the message:
Your message could not be sent at this time.

I am using WP Version 3.0.1
Plugin reCAPTCHA Form Version 1.2

Anyone have a fix? I have tried alternate CAPTCHA and they work, but we need Audio as visually impaired people visit the site and can't send mail to the client.

How to change blog administrator's email address?

How can I change the blog administrator's email address that the messages through the reCAPTCHA Form are delivered to?

The email address (john.smith@example.com) in our reCAPTCHA Form options is *not* the blog admin's email address, and I can find no way to change it.

I tried deleting user "John Smith", changed the public and private keys, but the reCAPTCHA Form options still regard "John Smith" as the blog admin.

Single Announcement on a Specific Page

Hi:

I want to be able to have a single announcement appear on a specific page. Is there a short code for placing one of the three announcement strings on a specific page? I need to be able to target each announcement to a specific page without having the other two announcements rotating.

Any help you can provide would be great!

I just instaleld the recapcha forms plugin, it is just what I needed. My Wordpress blog is secured with https and I find when I access the feedback page I built, I get that not sure message and have to answer "no" to have the whole page comeup. if I say yes, I only get the form andnot the capcha.
I also have the WP-recapcha installed and it operates fine under https. I checked the properties of the repective pages to see waht the defernce it and I found that recapcha form uses this link for the recapcha "http://api.recaptcha.net" where WP-recapcha uses "https://api-secure.recaptcha.net" which is why it works..
I dont recall making any setting changes to WP-recapcha and it works. my question, is ther somethig I need to do to make the recapcha forms use the secure site reference "https://api-secure.recaptcha.net"? please advise.. Thanks..

I'm trying to get ReCaptcha Form 1.1 running here:

If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will see that 4 fields are repeated from the main form. How do I delete these.

I did try to install version 1.2 but could not activate it due to fatal errors.

I'm running WP 2.9.2
With Plugins
Exec-PHP,
Flickr Gallery
FLV Embed
Kimili Flash Embed
MailChimp
WP-Menu

I'm not sure what version of PHP it is.

Please let me know what else you need to help me diagnose the problem.

Problems with shortcodes

We are running an older version of PHP (4.3.2) on the webserver and for this reason due to similar errors as seen in this thread: http://plugins.gattdesign.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=20, I have chosen to download version 1.11. Plugin activates fine, but when placing the shortcode into a post I get the following error:

Warning: Compilation failed: characters with values > 255 are not yet supported in classes at offset 16 in /wordpress/wp-includes/shortcodes.php on line 228

Any way to work around this?

Troubleshooting plugin because of invalid phrase error. Apparently reCaptha Form conflicts with WP-reCaptcha plugin.

Getting this error message. Captcha phrase is correctly entered. Tried multiple email addresses. Won't send. Tested public & private keys in WP-reCAPTCHA by posting a comment. It worked fine. Any thoughts?

Assign values to value on form input fields

How could I go about dynamically assigning $variable values to the Subject and Message fields of the input form?

Is it doable? Could I go into the plugin's php file and make some changes? If so, where would I need to do so?

Hi Sam,

I like your form and it's working well on one of my WP pages.

I do have a question though. I have a custom php file that I call to open up a popup window that I pass variables to that I would like to use the recaptcha form in. How do I call it from a php file that is not using WP?
